Sky.com Case Study

Sky.com is Sky’s primary consumer website, responsible for the acquisition of 15% of new direct-to-home subscribers.

In 2005 I led a team of five designers to deliver the original creative designs for the broadest iteration of Sky.com to date.

Whilst the site has changed a great deal post-launch, my original involvement included creative direction, user experience/information architecture, managing design timelines and delivery through to motivating the design team to meet aggressive deadlines. I also worked with the front-end and back-end developers on the technical implementation.

During my time employed by Sky I was involved in launching four versions of Sky.com each with a different remit and purpose. My involvement has progressed from designer, front-end developer to creative lead and pitching against top external agencies to win the re-design projects.
