3 Online Marketing Quick Wins

November, 2015

Getting your business name to be at the forefront of your potential customer can be a tricky process as they become inundated with online information available at the touch of a button. Our Top Tips will hopefully help to improve your local search marketing activity.

  • Go Mobile
As more and more people access information via their smart phones or tablets there is an ever increasing need to ensure that your website is mobile responsive. As your potential clients fumble on the daily commute to access your information online, there is nothing more frustrating that not being able to view the pages or access the links and search functions easily.
  • Claim Your Name
Ensure that your company has claimed the digital space it is entitled too. From directories to social media, even if you are not keen on actively updating these channels, at least by claiming your space you prevent someone else from taking them from you. The more your business name is put out there the more it will appear when searching.
  • Keep Information Current & Correct
There is nothing more frustrating that finding a website that is out of date. Firstly it is not a great first impression, leaving the visitor wondering if you are still in business but secondly it brings up information that is not relevant to the search. Ensure that you regularly make a point of checking your content and uploading new and interesting information to keep the visitor engaged.

There are numerous other tips that can help with your local search marketing. If you want to find out more simply call us on 0121 728 8168 or drop us an email hello@darrenlangley.com to see how we can help you get ahead of your competition.
